After submission, a task_id will be returned. If you provided a callback_url, when the task status becomes finished or failed, a POST request will be sent to the callback_url.
Regardless of whether callback_url is provided, you can retrieve the result through the unified Query Task Status endpoint.

Ideogram 4.5 Text to Image turns a prompt into posters, logos, packaging mockups, social graphics and other images where legible lettering matters. Request up to eight images at once and pick a quality tier that fits a draft or a final asset. Ideogram 4.5 is Ideogram’s image model for text-heavy visuals and precise edits. Vidgo exposes it as two model IDs: Text to Image and Edit.

Required parameters

prompt (string): The image you want, 1–10,000 characters. Quote any text that must appear, for example "GRAND OPENING". Must not be blank.

Optional parameters

n (integer): Number of images, 1–8. Default 1.
quality (string): low, medium or high. Default medium.
size (string): Output size. Default 1:1 HD. See Size.

Size

Presets: 1:1, 1:1 HD, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16. 1:1 HD is a higher-resolution square.

Any other value returns 400.

Output

The finished task returns one file per requested image (n) in the files array of Query Task Status and the callback payload.

Examples

Poster with lettering: a travel poster whose title is quoted in the prompt, 3:4, medium quality.
Four high-quality logo options with callback: n: 4, quality: high, 1024x1024, with a callback_url.

Notes

This ID takes text only. To change an existing image, use Ideogram 4.5 Edit.
Fields not listed above return 400. model and callback_url belong at the request root, not inside input.
Credits are reserved at submission and depend on quality and n only; size does not change the price. A failed task is refunded in full. See the pricing page for current rates.
